Simulation Toolbox For Trainers
Lean Six Sigma training materials are educational resources designed to introduce individuals or teams to the principles, methods, and tools of Lean Six Sigma, a combination of Lean principles and Six Sigma methodologies. Lean Six Sigma is a powerful approach to process improvement, waste reduction, and variation reduction in organizations. These training materials play a critical role in helping individuals understand and apply Lean Six Sigma concepts effectively. Here are some common components and features of Lean Six Sigma training materials. Lean Six Sigma training materials are typically used by companies to train their employees and teams, especially those involved in process improvement initiatives. These materials serve as valuable resources to increase process efficiency, reduce errors, and improve overall company performance. The specific content and format of Lean Six Sigma training materials may vary depending on the organization's training goals and the complexity of its Lean Six Sigma implementation efforts.
Contents simulation case

Group size: Ideally 16 participants
Group variation: min. 10 / max. 27 participants
Preparation time: approx. 60 minutes.
Period for implementation: 1 day
Necessary prior knowledge: Characteristics of lean management production (identifying customer needs and value streams, implementing process thinking, introducing the pull principle, striving for perfection), recording process performance (DLZ, WIP, etc.)
The virtual company with at least 14 to 27 employees is a manufacturer of catapults and produces in serial production with a low level of automation according to the classic push principle. The first round of the game is characterized by overproduction, excessive inventories, large batch sizes, unnecessary transport, quality problems, incompetent MSA, long setup times, disruptions and waiting times. Along the DMAIC cycle, the participants implement LEAN and KAIZEN step by step and lead the company back into the profit zone.
